For those of you interested in our agricultural sector, Somalia is blessed with the best irrigation land watered by the rivers Shabelle and Jubba. With the right mindset, I believe we can feed our people and even export food to the world in time. Let us all beat our swords into plowshares and till the land!

The daring assault on a KDF camp in Somalia by militants has been described as vehemently horrific. Yet questions are now being raised over the long term sustainability of Kenya’s mission in Somalia 5 years after entry in the war torn nation. Analysts now question why Somali nationals in the area where the attack took place vacated the neighborhood hours into the attack.
